‘Super Action 80 Serie II’

Vergeleken met de ‘Super Action 80’ zijn voornamelijk belangrijke veranderingen aangebracht op het gebied van het kleppenmechaniek (dubbele F linkerhand, hoge Fis-klep).
Het loopwerk is verbeterd door het aanbrengen van specifieke schroefjes in de assen, de zgn. ‘compensatoren’ (minder slijtage aan de kleppen).
Bij de eerste generatie ‘Super Action 80 Serie II’ werd een gesoldeerde ring gebruikt om het corpus en de bocht hermetisch af te sluiten, wat zorgde voor een gemakkelijker aanspreken van het lage register.
Bij de huidige modellen worden - dank zij nieuwe technologie - ter afsluiting van corpus/bocht/beker state-of-the-art kleefstoffen gebruikt.

De ‘Super Action 80 Serie II’ is de belichaming van de kernwaarden van Selmer Paris en diens doelstelling van universele gebruiksmogelijkheden.
Het is op dit moment de enige serie die zes van de zeven modellen van de saxofoonfamilie omvat, van de sopranino tot en met de bassaxofoon.
